I have always envied people who are eating the crab fries from Chickie's & Pete's at Citizens Bank Park, but never enough to wait in line to get my own. The fries look and smell so good. I finally decided, when I noticed that the line wasn't too long and that it was actually moving very quickly, to be one of those people eating the crab fries. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I was disappointed as soon as I took my first bite of the crab fries. They're good, don't get me wrong, as evidenced by the empty bucket, but I won't be going back for more. I am, however, still interested in riding on the Chickie's & Pete's bus.
There are several locations outside of the ballpark, in Phila & in NJ, that offer a lot more than fries.
